Description

This creamy Burrata Pasta combines fresh burrata cheese, ripe cherry tomatoes, and basil for a luxurious, restaurant-quality dish made in under 30 minutes. Perfect for a quick yet indulgent Italian meal!


Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti, rigatoni, or pappardelle)
  • 1 ball fresh burrata cheese
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 ½ cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt & black pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup reserved pasta water
  • Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
  • Lemon zest (optional)

Instructions

Cook Pasta: Boil salted water, cook pasta al dente, and reserve ¼ cup pasta water.
Prepare Sauce: In a pan, heat olive oil, sauté garlic, and add cherry tomatoes. Cook until soft.
Combine: Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, adding reserved pasta water to create a light coating.
Add Burrata: Turn off heat, tear burrata over the pasta, and let it melt slightly.
Finish & Serve: Garnish with basil, a drizzle of olive oil, and lemon zest. Serve immediately.
